Dra. Ros\u00e2ngela Sim\u00e3o Bianchini (Instituto de Bot\u00e2nica \u2013 IBt), e composta pelo Prof. Dr. Jos\u00e9 Rubens Pirani (Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 USP) e pela Profa. Dra. L\u00facia Rossi (Instituto de Bot\u00e2nica \u2013 IBt).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">O trabalho teve como objetivos: realizar o levantamento atualizado das esp\u00e9cies de <em>Ruellia<\/em> ocorrentes no estado de Goi\u00e1s e Distrito Federal, realizar estudos para o melhor entendimento da morfologia, nomenclatura e taxonomia das esp\u00e9cies ocorrentes na \u00e1rea de estudo, e contribuir com a monografia do g\u00eanero para a Flora do Brasil 2020, em andamento, e com a Flora dos Estados de Goi\u00e1s e Tocantins.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Como resultados do trabalho, foram identificadas 41 esp\u00e9cies de <em>Ruellia<\/em> para o estado de Goi\u00e1s e 19 para o Distrito Federal, onde todas as esp\u00e9cies ocorrentes no Distrito Federal tamb\u00e9m ocorrem no estado de Goi\u00e1s. \u00c9 apresentada uma chave de identifica\u00e7\u00e3o para as esp\u00e9cies, e para cada esp\u00e9cie foram elaboradas descri\u00e7\u00f5es morfol\u00f3gicas, mapas de distribui\u00e7\u00e3o das esp\u00e9cies, e informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre habitat e fenologia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">No trabalho tamb\u00e9m est\u00e3o sendo descritas 11 esp\u00e9cies novas e propostas 2 novas combina\u00e7\u00f5es, al\u00e9m da ado\u00e7\u00e3o de novos sin\u00f4nimos, e lectotipifica\u00e7\u00e3o de v\u00e1rios nomes.<\/p>\n<hr align=\"center\" noshade=\"noshade\" size=\"1\" width=\"100%\" \/>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">O g\u00eanero <em>Ruellia<\/em> L. (Acanthaceae) no Estado de Goi\u00e1s e Distrito Federal, Brasil<\/h3>\n<hr align=\"center\" noshade=\"noshade\" size=\"1\" width=\"100%\" \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>ABSTRACT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The genus <em>Ruellia<\/em> comprehend about 400 species, with tropical and subtropical distribution, reaching some temperate regions, and characterized by the calyx with five sepals united only at the base, tubular, infundibular, hipocrateriform corollas, with a narrow unexpanded portion at the base of the tube, erect or curved, an expanded portion generally obconic, and five contort lobes, reflexed, patent or erect; capsule cylindric to more or less compressed, and lenticular seeds with hygroscopic trichomes that become mucilaginous when wet. In Brazil, the genus occurs in all vegetation domains, most of species occur in Cerrado. This study was based in herbarium specimens analysis of 15 herbaria, besides digital image available in virtual herbaria and field work. Thirty one species were the initial estimate for Goi\u00e1s, and 11 species to Distrito Federal, occurring in all vegetation types. After the studies, 41 species of <em>Ruellia <\/em>are current listed to Goi\u00e1s and Distrito Federal. This work presents in Chapter 1 the synopsis of the genus <em>Ruellia<\/em> in the state of Goi\u00e1s and Distrito Federal with morphological descriptions, distribution maps, and taxonomic comments of 41 species, 1 subspecies and 2 varieties, besides the Lectotypification of 37 names; and in Chapter 2 the description of 11 new species and two new combination in <em>Ruellia<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Key-words:<\/strong> Cerrado Flora, Central Brazil, lectotypification, new species, new combination, nomenclature, riparian forest, Ruellieae, Semideciduous forests, taxonomy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>RESUMO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">O g\u00eanero <em>Ruellia <\/em>consiste em cerca de 400 esp\u00e9cies, com distribui\u00e7\u00e3o tropical e subtropical, alcan\u00e7ando at\u00e9 algumas regi\u00f5es temperadas, e caracterizado por apresentar c\u00e1lice com 5 s\u00e9palas unidas somente na base, corola tubular, infundibuliforme a hipocrateriforme com a parte mais estreita do tubo reta ou recurvada, uma por\u00e7\u00e3o mais expandida, geralmente obc\u00f4nica e cinco lobos contortos, livres, reflexos, patentes ou eretos; c\u00e1psula cil\u00edndrica a mais ou menos compressa, e sementes lenticulares com tricomas que se tornam mucilaginosos quando molhados. No Brasil, o g\u00eanero ocorre em todos os dom\u00ednios fitogeogr\u00e1ficos, com a maioria das esp\u00e9cies ocorrendo no Cerrado. O estudo baseou-se na an\u00e1lise de materiais de 15 herb\u00e1rios, al\u00e9m de imagens de exsicatas dispon\u00edveis on-line e trabalho de campo. A estimativa inicial era de 31 esp\u00e9cies de <em>Ruellia<\/em> no Estado de Goi\u00e1s e 11 esp\u00e9cies no Distrito Federal, distribu\u00eddas por todas as fitofisionomias encontradas nessa regi\u00e3o. Ap\u00f3s os estudos, s\u00e3o reconhecidas atualmente para Goi\u00e1s e Distrito Federal, 41 esp\u00e9cies de <em>Ruellia<\/em>.
