A apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o ocorreu pelo Google Meets, com a presen\u00e7a da banca formada por Dra. Marisa Domingos, Dr. Gilberto Fisch e Dra. Os resultados revelaram um panorama sobre a necessidade de estabelecimento de modelos de restaura\u00e7\u00e3o urbana para ambientes tropicais e de se observar as caracter\u00edsticas fisiol\u00f3gicas das esp\u00e9cies utilizadas em restaura\u00e7\u00e3o natural como sendo indicadores de resili\u00eancia \u00e0s mudan\u00e7as do clima.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Todo agradecimento ao Instituto de Pesquisas Ambientais de S\u00e3o Paulo (IPA) por toda infraestrutura prestada para a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o deste trabalho e ao Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Cient\u00edfico e Tecnol\u00f3gico (CNPq 130184\/2020-9) pela bolsa concedida durante o per\u00edodo do Mestrado.<\/p>\n<hr align=\"center\" noshade=\"noshade\" size=\"1\" width=\"100%\" \/>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">Restaura\u00e7\u00e3o ecol\u00f3gica em \u00e1reas naturais e urbanas no bioma da Mata Atl\u00e2ntica: uma revis\u00e3o sistem\u00e1tica PRISMA visando reflex\u00e3o sobre a aplicabilidade no cen\u00e1rio de mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas<\/h3>\n<hr align=\"center\" noshade=\"noshade\" size=\"1\" width=\"100%\" \/>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>ABSTRACT<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Between the 18th and 19th centuries, a process was underway in England that would permanently impact the Earth \u2013 the Industrial Revolution. Marked by a period of intense economic growth, technological advances, and urbanization, the Industrial Revolution brought with it environmental impacts that continue to persist to this day. Urbanization destroys forest ecosystems, not only directly by transforming natural areas into urban ones but also indirectly by increasing the demand for natural resources and emitting numerous gases and pollutants. These pollutant gases are reported as the primary contributors to the Greenhouse Effect, promoting Global Warming \u2013 one of the most concerning variables when it comes to climate change. Optimistic predictions estimate a temperature increase of between 1.5\u00b0C and 1.9\u00b0C by the end of the century. Considering the biological potential of forests to mitigate the effects of climate change through carbon sequestration by plant species, restoring forest and urban fragments becomes a necessity. Turning our attention to Brazil, the biome most affected by the degrading effects of urbanization has been the Atlantic Forest, considered one of the 25 global biodiversity hotspots and, currently, having already lost over 93% of its original area in Brazilian territory. Owing to, ecological restoration in the Atlantic Forest is essential to promote climatic, ecological, and social balance \u2013 but furthermore, it is necessary to promote restorations that are resilient to climate change predictions. Therefore, seeking to understand the physiological responses of plants used for ecological restoration and, moreover, organizing data on what has been done in other biomes in terms of restoration in urban fragments can reveal trends for adapting ecological restoration models in the Atlantic Forest biome in the face of predicted climate changes \u2013 an objective achieved in this study through a systematic review that gathered data according to the PRISMA methodology. Our results demonstrate a research gap in this area, especially regarding understanding the physiological response of native species in the Atlantic Forest to climate change. However, it was possible to identify species tolerant to predicted changes and the possibility of using such species to mitigate the effects on sensitive species. Furthermore, a trend was identified in urban ecological restoration projects to diagnose and monitor the restored area, a fact already addressed by the current resolution in the State of S\u00e3o Paulo for the Atlantic Forest biome. It is necessary to promote ecological restoration that is resilient to climate change in forest and urban areas to create connectivity between these environments and thus provide tolerant ecosystems for the future \u2013 a possible solution for conservation, one of the greatest challenges of the century.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Keywords: <\/strong>Atlantic Forest; Climate change; Ecological restoration; Sustainable development; Tolerant species; Urbanization<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>RESUMO<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Entre os s\u00e9culos XVIII e XIX ocorreu na Inglaterra um processo que impactaria o globo terrestre permanentemente \u2013 a Revolu\u00e7\u00e3o Industrial. Marcada por um per\u00edodo de intenso crescimento econ\u00f4mico, avan\u00e7os tecnol\u00f3gicos e urbaniza\u00e7\u00e3o, a Revolu\u00e7\u00e3o Industrial trouxe consigo impactos ambientais que perduram at\u00e9 os dias atuais. A urbaniza\u00e7\u00e3o destr\u00f3i ecossistemas florestais, n\u00e3o somente, de maneira direta, com transforma\u00e7\u00e3o em \u00e1reas naturais em \u00e1reas urbanas, mas tamb\u00e9m de maneira indireta, aumentando a demanda por recursos naturais e emitindo in\u00fameros gases e compostos poluentes. Tais gases poluentes s\u00e3o relatados como os principais agravantes do Efeito Estufa, promovendo o Aquecimento Global \u2013 uma das vari\u00e1veis mais preocupantes quando o assunto \u00e9 mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas. Previs\u00f5es otimistas estimam um aumento entre 1,5\u00baC e 1,9\u00baC na temperatura at\u00e9 o final do s\u00e9culo. Considerando o potencial biol\u00f3gico das florestas em mitigar os efeitos das mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas gra\u00e7as ao sequestro de carbono realizado pelas esp\u00e9cies vegetais, restaurar fragmentos florestais e urbanos se mostra como necessidade. Voltando os olhos para o Brasil, o bioma que mais sofreu os efeitos degradantes da urbaniza\u00e7\u00e3o foi a Mata Atl\u00e2ntica, considerado um dos 25 <em>hotspots<\/em> mundiais de biodiversidade e, atualmente, j\u00e1 tendo perdido mais de 93% da sua \u00e1rea original em territ\u00f3rio brasileiro. Tendo esse cen\u00e1rio em vista, a restaura\u00e7\u00e3o ecol\u00f3gica na Mata Atl\u00e2ntica \u00e9 essencial para promover equil\u00edbrio clim\u00e1tico, ecol\u00f3gico e social \u2013 mas al\u00e9m disso, \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio para promover restaura\u00e7\u00f5es tolerantes \u00e0s previs\u00f5es das mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas. Portanto, buscar compreender as respostas fisiol\u00f3gicas das plantas utilizadas para restaura\u00e7\u00e3o ecol\u00f3gica e, ademais, organizar dados sobre o que vem sendo feito em outros biomas em termos de restaura\u00e7\u00e3o pode revelar tend\u00eancias para adaptar modelos de restaura\u00e7\u00e3o ecol\u00f3gica no bioma da Mata Atl\u00e2ntica frente \u00e0s mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas previstas \u2013 objetivo alcan\u00e7ado neste trabalho atrav\u00e9s de uma revis\u00e3o sistem\u00e1tica que reuniu dados, segundo a metodologia PRISMA. Nossos resultados demonstram uma lacuna de estudos na \u00e1rea, principalmente visando compreender a resposta fisiol\u00f3gica de esp\u00e9cies nativas da Mata Atl\u00e2ntica frente \u00e0s mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas. Por\u00e9m, foi poss\u00edvel identificar esp\u00e9cies tolerantes \u00e0s altera\u00e7\u00f5es previstas e, ainda, a possibilidade de utilizar tais esp\u00e9cies a fim de mitigar os efeitos para esp\u00e9cies sens\u00edveis.
