A banca examinadora foi presidida pelo seu orientador, PqC. Dr. Eduardo Pereira Cabral Gomes e composta pela Prof\u00aa Dr\u00aa. Renata Jimenez de Almeida Scabbia e pelo PqC. Dr. Nelson Augusto dos Santos Junior (N\u00facleo de Pesquisa em Sementes \u2013 IBt\/SP).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">A perturba\u00e7\u00e3o e a presen\u00e7a de esp\u00e9cies ex\u00f3ticas s\u00e3o fatores que podem afetar a regenera\u00e7\u00e3o de uma floresta. Este estudo buscou levantar os indiv\u00edduos existentes no Banco de plantas jovens de tr\u00eas \u00e1reas com diferentes graus de perturba\u00e7\u00e3o, dentro do Parque Estadual das Fontes do Ipiranga. O objetivo foi verificar se os bancos diferenciavam-se entre si e se estavam sofrendo uma invas\u00e3o por esp\u00e9cies ex\u00f3ticas. A diferencia\u00e7\u00e3o entre os bancos foi observada, por\u00e9m, os dados mostram que ainda n\u00e3o h\u00e1 uma invas\u00e3o por esp\u00e9cies ex\u00f3ticas estabelecida.<\/p>\n<hr align=\"center\" noshade=\"noshade\" size=\"1\" width=\"100%\" \/>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">Banco de plantas jovens do sub-bosque sob diferentes graus de perturba\u00e7\u00e3o em remanescente de Floresta Atl\u00e2ntica<\/h3>\n<hr align=\"center\" noshade=\"noshade\" size=\"1\" width=\"100%\" \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>ABSTRACT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The forests regeneration is a process that is influenced by several factors. The anthropic disturbances, the degradation of physical and chemical soil conditions, the fragmentation process and the conservation of these fragments are some of them. Depending on the size of the fragment, there will be conditions more conducive to the dispersion of species such as pioneers and rudders, or the lost of some plants and animals species The forest gaps will influence the mechanism that promotes the regeneration, interfering in the strategy of plants dispersion and altering its establishment in the gaps and consequently in the forest. The seed rain, the seed bank of the soil and the bank of seedlings are the natural mechanisms of forest regeneration. The study of one or more of these mechanisms, such as the seedling bank, can indicate the degree of a forest disturbance. In this study, the individuals belonging to the understorey\u00a0 young plants bank were surveyed in three areas with different degrees of disturbance within the Parque Estadual das Fontes do Ipiranga: AMC &#8211; most preserved area; the AVM &#8211; area with intermediate degree of disturbance and TTB &#8211; area more degraded. For this, 10 plots of 1m x 10m were installed within the permanent plots of 10 x 10 m already existing in the three sites. All young plants with a height between 30 cm and 100 cm were sampled and the percentage of bare earth, litter, plant,<em> Calathea cf. monophylla<\/em> and bamboo found at three randomly selected points within the implanted plots was measured. In total, 993 young plants were found among 177 species belonging to 41 families. Most individuals were non-pioneer plants. All areas were considered statistically different from each other. The AMC, contrary to the one advocated in other studies, presented itself as the area with the lowest richness and diversity. The opening of the canopy and the basal area did not influence the occurrence of the types of coverings. However, there was a positive correlation between the incidence of<em> Calathea cf. monophylla <\/em>and the degree of site conservation e, as well as between the incidence of bamboo and the disturbance of the site. Invasive alien species have little influence on the young plant bank, so it can not be characterized at this time that the PEFI would be suffering from a severe invasion.<br \/>\nKeywords: Disturbance, Forest regeneration, PEFI, Seedling bank<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>RESUMO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">A regenera\u00e7\u00e3o de florestas \u00e9 um processo que sofre influ\u00eancia de v\u00e1rios fatores. As perturba\u00e7\u00f5es antr\u00f3picas, a degrada\u00e7\u00e3o das condi\u00e7\u00f5es f\u00edsicas e qu\u00edmicas do solo, o processo de fragmenta\u00e7\u00e3o e a conserva\u00e7\u00e3o destes fragmentos, s\u00e3o alguns deles. Dependendo do tamanho do fragmento, haver\u00e1 condi\u00e7\u00f5es mais prop\u00edcias para a dispers\u00e3o de esp\u00e9cies como as pioneiras e ruderais, ou a perda de algumas esp\u00e9cies de plantas e animais. A abertura de clareiras vai influenciar no mecanismo que promove a regenera\u00e7\u00e3o, interferindo na estrat\u00e9gia de dispers\u00e3o das plantas e alterando o seu estabelecimento nas clareiras e por consequ\u00eancia na floresta. A chuva de sementes, o banco de sementes do solo e o banco de pl\u00e2ntulas s\u00e3o os mecanismos naturais de regenera\u00e7\u00e3o da floresta. O estudo de um ou mais destes mecanismos, como o banco de pl\u00e2ntulas, pode indicar o grau de perturba\u00e7\u00e3o de uma floresta. Neste estudo foi feito o levantamento dos indiv\u00edduos pertencentes ao banco de plantas jovens do sub-bosque de tr\u00eas \u00e1reas com diferentes graus de perturba\u00e7\u00e3o dentro do Parque Estadual das Fontes do Ipiranga: A AMC &#8211; \u00e1rea mais preservada; a AVM &#8211; \u00e1rea com grau intermedi\u00e1rio de perturba\u00e7\u00e3o e TTB &#8211; \u00e1rea mais degradada. Para isto, fez-se a instala\u00e7\u00e3o de 10 parcelas de 1m x 10m dentro das parcelas permanentes de 10m x 10m j\u00e1 existentes nos tr\u00eas locais. Foram amostradas todas as plantas jovens com altura entre 30cm e 100cm e feita a medi\u00e7\u00e3o da porcentagem de terra nua, serapilheira, planta,<em> Calathea cf. monophylla<\/em> e bambu encontrados em tr\u00eas pontos sorteados aleatoriamente dentro das parcelas implantadas. No total, foram encontradas 993 plantas jovens, dentre 177 esp\u00e9cies e pertencentes a 41 fam\u00edlias. A maior parte dos indiv\u00edduos eram plantas n\u00e3o pioneiras. Todas as \u00e1reas foram consideradas estatisticamente diferentes entre s\u00ed. A AMC, ao contr\u00e1rio do preconizado em outros estudos apresentou-se como a \u00e1rea com menor riqueza e diversidade. A abertura do dossel e a \u00e1rea basal n\u00e3o influenciaram na ocorr\u00eancia dos tipos de coberturas. Por\u00e9m, verificou-se uma correla\u00e7\u00e3o positiva entre a incid\u00eancia de <em>Calathea cf. monophylla<\/em> e a conserva\u00e7\u00e3o do local, assim como entre a incid\u00eancia de bambu e a perturba\u00e7\u00e3o do local.
