A banca examinadora foi presidida pelo seu orientador, PqC. Dr. Eduardo Pereira Cabral Gomes e composta pela Prof. Dr. Frederico Alexandre Roccia Dal Pozzo Arzolla (IF) e pela PqC. Dr\u00aa. Rosangela Sim\u00e3o Bianchini (N\u00facleo de Pesquisa Curadoria do Herb\u00e1rio SP \u2013 IBt\/SP).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Esp\u00e9cies do g\u00eanero <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Eucalyptus<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> L\u2019H\u00e9r. (Myrtaceae) sempre receberam cr\u00edticas relacionadas aos impactos negativos no meio ambiente, por\u00e9m, recentemente tem sido discutido seu papel na restaura\u00e7\u00e3o e conserva\u00e7\u00e3o dos remanescentes florestais. Diversos estudos em sub-bosque de eucaliptais t\u00eam registrado a ocorr\u00eancia de regenera\u00e7\u00e3o natural e, dependendo de determinadas condi\u00e7\u00f5es relacionadas ao plantio e a matriz, a facilita\u00e7\u00e3o da sucess\u00e3o florestal. Entretanto, no caso das Unidades de Conserva\u00e7\u00e3o no Brasil cuja diretriz definida nos planos de manejo \u00e9 a remo\u00e7\u00e3o dos eucaliptos, estudos de flor\u00edstica e fitossociologia tornam-se fundamentais para colaborar com o planejamento do manejo mais adequado, principalmente diante desta mudan\u00e7a de paradigma.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr align=\"center\" noshade=\"noshade\" size=\"1\" width=\"100%\" \/>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">Regenera\u00e7\u00e3o natural no sub-bosque de eucaliptal no Parque Estadual das Fontes do Ipiranga, S\u00e3o Paulo, SP<\/h3>\n<hr align=\"center\" noshade=\"noshade\" size=\"1\" width=\"100%\" \/>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>ABSTRACT<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Species of the genus <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Eucalyptus<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> L&#8217;H\u00e9r. (Myrtaceae) have always been criticized for negative impacts on the environment, but their role in the restoration and conservation of forest remnants has recently been discussed. Several studies in eucalyptus understorey have registered the occurrence of natural regeneration and, depending on certain conditions related to planting and matrix, the facilitation of forest succession. However, in the case of Conservation Units in Brazil whose guideline defined in the management plans is the removal of eucalyptus, studies of floristic and phytosociology become fundamental to collaborate with the planning of the most appropriate management. The present study aimed to characterize the natural regeneration of the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Eucalyptus grandis<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> sub-forests located in the State Park of the Ipiranga Sources (PEFI), an integral protection conservation unit located in the metropolitan region of the city of S\u00e3o Paulo, state of S\u00e3o Paulo. The study was carried out in three sample units, where all individuals with DBH \u2265 2,5 cm were sampled in 10 transects of 2 m x 50 m in each area (totaling 3,000 m2 of sampled area). 802 living individuals and 47 dead were inventoried in the total sample area. In the natural regeneration, 642 living individuals were sampled, distributed in 140 species, belonging to 46 botanical families. The families with the highest number of species were Myrtaceae, Lauraceae, Euphorbiaceae, Fabaceae, Sapindaceae and Solanaceae. Most of the species were classified as non-pioneer (68.87%) and with zooric dispersion (81.13%). The structure parameters for natural regeneration were: density of 2,140 ind.\/ha<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">-1<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and dominance of 11.04 m\u00b2 \/ ha<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">-1<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. The rarefaction curve and the diversity profile show that Area 1 shows greater diversity and richness in natural regeneration. The ordinations and ANOSIM, among the three sample units (eucalyptus) and between the eucalyptus and two forest sections in the PEFI with different degrees of preservation, indicate distinct floristic composition. This result may be influenced by several disturbance factors, due to the history of area use and management. Despite this, the total area maintains floristic richness and progresses to more advanced stages, as observed by the greater presence of non-pioneer species. O presente estudo teve como objetivo caracterizar a regenera\u00e7\u00e3o natural nos sub-bosques de <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Eucalyptus grandis <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">localizados no Parque Estadual das Fontes do Ipiranga (PEFI), unidade de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o de prote\u00e7\u00e3o integral inserida na regi\u00e3o metropolitana do munic\u00edpio de S\u00e3o Paulo, SP. O estudo foi desenvolvido em tr\u00eas unidades amostrais, onde foram<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">amostrados<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">todos os indiv\u00edduos com DAP \u2265 2,5 cm, em 10 transectos de 2 m x 50 m em cada \u00e1rea (totalizando 3.000 m<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">2<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> de \u00e1rea amostrada). Foram inventariados na \u00e1rea amostral total 802 indiv\u00edduos vivos e 47 mortos. Na regenera\u00e7\u00e3o natural foram amostrados 642 indiv\u00edduos vivos,<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">distribu\u00eddos em 140 esp\u00e9cies, pertencentes a 46 fam\u00edlias bot\u00e2nicas. As fam\u00edlias com maior n\u00famero de esp\u00e9cies foram Myrtaceae, Lauraceae, Euphorbiaceae, Fabaceae, Sapindaceae e Solanaceae. A maioria das esp\u00e9cies foram classificadas como n\u00e3o pioneiras (68,87%) e com dispers\u00e3o zooc\u00f3rica (81,13%).<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Os par\u00e2metros de estrutura para a regenera\u00e7\u00e3o natural foram: densidade de 2.140 ind.\/ha<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">-1<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> e domin\u00e2ncia de 11,04 m\u00b2\/ha<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">-1<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. A curva de rarefa\u00e7\u00e3o e o perfil de diversidade mostram que a \u00c1rea 1 apresenta maior diversidade e riqueza na regenera\u00e7\u00e3o natural. As ordena\u00e7\u00f5es e a ANOSIM, entre as tr\u00eas unidades amostrais (eucaliptais) e entre os eucaliptais e dois trechos de mata no PEFI com graus diferentes de preserva\u00e7\u00e3o, indicam composi\u00e7\u00e3o flor\u00edstica distintas. Esse resultado pode ser influ\u00eancia de<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">diversos fatores de perturba\u00e7\u00e3o, em raz\u00e3o do hist\u00f3rico de uso da \u00e1rea e do manejo. Apesar disso, a \u00e1rea total mant\u00e9m riqueza flor\u00edstica e progride para est\u00e1gios mais avan\u00e7ados, como observado pela maior presen\u00e7a de esp\u00e9cies n\u00e3o pioneiras.
