Por\u00e9m, a descri\u00e7\u00e3o morfol\u00f3gica dos gr\u00e3os de p\u00f3len \u00e9 interessante a ser estudada, visto que os caracteres pol\u00ednicos s\u00e3o, geralmente, est\u00e1veis geneticamente, ou seja, n\u00e3o mudam devido \u00e0 influ\u00eancia do ambiente e, portanto de grande valor taxon\u00f4mico. O trabalho teve como objetivo a caracteriza\u00e7\u00e3o pol\u00ednica das esp\u00e9cies de Iridaceae nativas, ocorrentes nos estados brasileiros de Goi\u00e1s e Tocantins. Foram analisados os gr\u00e3os de p\u00f3len de 19 esp\u00e9cies: <em>Alophia coerulea <\/em>(Vell.) Chukr, <em>Alophia <\/em>sp., <em>Cipura formosa <\/em>Ravenna, <em>C. paludosa <\/em>Aubl., (alho-do-mato), <em>C. xanthomelas<\/em> Mart. ex Klatt, <em>Eleutherine bulbosa <\/em>(Mill.) Urb., <em>Larentia linearis<\/em> (Kunth) Klatt, <em>Sisyrinchium commutatum <\/em>Klatt, <em>S. fasciculatum<\/em> Klatt, <em>S. luzula <\/em>Klotzsch ex Klatt, <em>S. restioides<\/em> Spreng., <em>S. vaginatum <\/em>Spreng. (Cachal\u00e1gua), <em>Trimezia cathartica<\/em> (Klatt) Niederl., <em>T. juncifolia <\/em>(Klatt) Benth. &amp; Hook. f. (Ruibarbo-do-cerrado), <em>T. lutea<\/em> (Klatt) R.C. Foster, <em>T. martinicensis <\/em>(Jacq.) Herb., <em>T. pusilla <\/em>Ravenna, <em>T. spathata <\/em>(Klatt) Baker subsp. <em>spectabilis <\/em>(Ravenna) Chukr e <i>T. violacea<\/i> (Klatt) Ravenna. As diferen\u00e7as observadas na ornamenta\u00e7\u00e3o, aberturas e tamanho dos gr\u00e3os de p\u00f3len indicaram varia\u00e7\u00f5es morfol\u00f3gicas entre as esp\u00e9cies, permitindo separa-las em grupos distintos de tipos pol\u00ednicos,<br \/>\no que pode auxiliar nos estudos taxon\u00f4micos da fam\u00edlia Iridaceae.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/smastr16.blob.core.windows.net\/pgibt\/2015\/02\/Marcos_Queiroz.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-4340\" alt=\"Marcos_Queiroz\" src=\"https:\/\/smastr16.blob.core.windows.net\/pgibt\/2015\/02\/Marcos_Queiroz.jpg\" width=\"410\" height=\"323\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<hr align=\"center\" noshade=\"noshade\" size=\"1\" width=\"100%\" \/>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">Palinotaxonomia de Iridaceae Juss. dos Estados de Goi\u00e1s e Tocantins, Brasil.<\/h3>\n<hr align=\"center\" noshade=\"noshade\" size=\"1\" width=\"100%\" \/>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>RESUMO<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Foram estudados os gr\u00e3os de p\u00f3len de 19 esp\u00e9cies de Iridaceae ocorrentes nos estados brasileiros de Goi\u00e1s e Tocantins. Os gr\u00e3os de p\u00f3len foram acetolisados, medidos e fotografados, sob microscopia de luz e microscopia eletr\u00f4nica de varredura. As dados receberam tratamento estat\u00edstico. Os gr\u00e3os de p\u00f3len foram classificados de acordo com seu tipo de abertura, tamanho do p\u00f3len e padr\u00e3o de ornamenta\u00e7\u00e3o da exina. O primeiro tipo possui abertura monossulcada e engloba gr\u00e3os de p\u00f3len m\u00e9dios a grandes com exina reticulada caracterizada por muros cont\u00ednuos ou descont\u00ednuos ou, exina microrreticulada. <em>Cipura formosa<\/em> e os g\u00eaneros <em>Alophia, Eleutherine, Sisyrinchium<\/em> e <em>Trimezia<\/em> se classificam neste grupo. O segundo tipo possui abertura zonassulculada, e reune gr\u00e3os de p\u00f3len m\u00e9dios a grandes com exina reticulada de muros cont\u00ednuos. <em>C. paludosa, C. xanthomelas <\/em>e <em>Larentia linearis <\/em>est\u00e3o inseridas neste grupo. Com base nos resultados obtidos foi poss\u00edvel a separa\u00e7\u00e3o da maioria das esp\u00e9cies, demonstrando que a morfologia pol\u00ednica pode contribuir nos estudos taxon\u00f4micos destes g\u00eaneros. As varia\u00e7\u00f5es na morfologia pol\u00ednica das esp\u00e9cies ocorrentes nos Estados de Goi\u00e1s e Tocantins permitiram caracterizar a fam\u00edlia Iridaceae como euripol\u00ednica.<\/p>\n<p
