Fernando de Luca como novo Diretor Geral do Instituto Florestal.<\/p>\n<p>Edgar se graduou em Engenharia Florestal pela Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz da Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo (ESALQ\/USP) em 1994. Se tornou Mestre em Ci\u00eancias pelo Centro de Energia Nuclear na Agricultura \/ USP em 1997 e doutor pela mesma institui\u00e7\u00e3o em 2002. Tamb\u00e9m estudou no Institut de Rech\u00e8rche pour le Development &#8211; IRD, na Fran\u00e7a. Tem experi\u00eancia na \u00e1rea de Manejo Florestal, com \u00eanfase em Manejo de Res\u00edduos Vegetais e Solos e Nutri\u00e7\u00e3o de Plantas, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: servi\u00e7os ecossist\u00eamicos das florestas (relacionados ao ciclo do carbono); qualidade f\u00edsica e qu\u00edmica dos solos e forma\u00e7\u00e3o e decomposi\u00e7\u00e3o de serapilheira.<\/p>\n<p>O novo Diretor Geral do IF agradeceu o apoio e elogiou o trabalho dos servidores da institui\u00e7\u00e3o bem como dos dirigentes da gest\u00e3o anterior. Refor\u00e7ou a necessidade de uni\u00e3o e deixou uma mensagem de otimismo para o p\u00fablico presente.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m dos discursos da Secret\u00e1ria do Meio Ambiente Patr\u00edcia Iglecias e do novo Diretor Geral, a cerim\u00f4nia contou um momento descontra\u00eddo com uma apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o musical com crian\u00e7as. \u00a0Filhos de funcion\u00e1rios da institui\u00e7\u00e3o, sob a reg\u00eancia do professor e maestro Marcelo Campos, dan\u00e7aram a m\u00fasica Xote Ecol\u00f3gico, de Lu\u00eds Gonzaga.<\/p>\n<p>Mais de 200 pessoas estiveram presentes no evento.
