sobre Engenharia Florestal. O evento tem como objetivo apresentar a institui\u00e7\u00e3o aos estudantes da \u00e1rea e contribuir com sua forma\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Esta edi\u00e7\u00e3o do evento foi coordenada pelos pesquisadores cient\u00edficos do IF Lu\u00eds Alberto Bucci e Israel Lu\u00edz de Lima em parceria com o Prof. Dr. Valdemir Ant\u00f4nio Rodrigues da UNESP de Botucatu, que trouxe 41 estudantes que est\u00e3o cursando o primeiro ano de Engenharia Florestal.<\/p>\n<p>O Diretor Geral do IF, Rodrigo Victor, que tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 engenheiro florestal, fez a abertura do Col\u00f3quio no audit\u00f3rio do Museu Florestal. Ap\u00f3s a recep\u00e7\u00e3o, os estudantes se dividiram em grupos e fizeram uma visita monitorada \u00e0s depend\u00eancias do museu, sob a orienta\u00e7\u00e3o da arquiteta Roselaine Barros. Em seguida, conheceram a est\u00e1tua de S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o Gualberto, o santo protetor das florestas, no Parque Estadual Alberto L\u00f6fgren.<\/p>\n<p>O IF proporciona a esses futuros profissionais a possibilidade de ter um primeiro contato com segmentos da profiss\u00e3o na pr\u00e1tica, atrav\u00e9s das visitas feitas aos laborat\u00f3rios e da intera\u00e7\u00e3o com os diversos pesquisadores. O itiner\u00e1rio incluiu a Se\u00e7\u00e3o de Manejo e Invent\u00e1rio Florestal, o Centro de Sementes, o Laborat\u00f3rio de Madeira e o Herb\u00e1rio Florestal.
