O artigo \u00e9 resultado de um estudo sobre a regenera\u00e7\u00e3o do eucalipto que, al\u00e9m do pesquisador cient\u00edfico do Instituto Florestal Alexandre Magno Sebbenn, leva tamb\u00e9m a autoria de Paulo Henrique Muller da Silva (IPEF), Fabio Poggiani (Esalq\/USP), Edson Seizo Mori (UNESP).<\/p>\n<p>Com o objetivo de avaliar se o eucalipto pode invadir fragmentos de vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o nativa pr\u00f3ximos a plantios comerciais e averiguar quais os fatores envolvidos na germina\u00e7\u00e3o e regenera\u00e7\u00e3o, foram realizados tr\u00eas experimentos em diferentes regi\u00f5es do Brasil. O processo durou um ano e ap\u00f3s esse per\u00edodo conclui-se que os fatores que mais influenciaram na germina\u00e7\u00e3o das sementes de eucalipto e das esp\u00e9cies nativas foram o tipo de vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o e a exposi\u00e7\u00e3o do solo. Contudo, as pl\u00e2ntulas de eucalipto morreram durante o per\u00edodo de observa\u00e7\u00e3o, demonstrando uma baixa adapta\u00e7\u00e3o ecol\u00f3gica, sendo incapaz de se estabelecer nas vegeta\u00e7\u00f5es pr\u00f3ximas a plantios comerciais e mostrando que a esp\u00e9cie precisaria de condi\u00e7\u00f5es muito espec\u00edficas para que ocorresse a regenera\u00e7\u00e3o natural.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maiores informa\u00e7\u00f5es:<\/strong> Pesquisador Cient\u00edfico Alexandre Magno Sebbenn.
