comemora\u00e7\u00e3o do Dia Mundial do Meio Ambiente.\u00a0O evento\u00a0\u201cPassarinhando no Dia do Meio Ambiente\u201d foi realizado pelo Instituto Florestal (IF), Secretaria Municipal de Defesa do Meio Ambiente (SEDEMA) e Escola Superior de Agricultura \u201cLuiz de Queiroz\u201d da Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo (Esalq\/USP).<\/p>\n<p>Durante a atividade, foram avistadas mais de 30 esp\u00e9cies diferentes de aves: \u00a0beija-flor-de-fronte-violeta (<i>Thalurania glaucopis<\/i>), frango-d&#8217;agua-comum (<i>Gallinula galeata<\/i>), gar\u00e7a-vaqueira (<i>Bubulcus-ibis<\/i>), martim-pescador-verde (<i>Chloroceryle amazona<\/i>), pica-pau-de-banda-branca (<i>Dryocopus-lineatus<\/i>), pica-pau-do-campo-(<i>Colaptes campestris<\/i>) e tapicuru (<i>Phimosus infuscatus<\/i>), entre outras.<\/p>\n<p>O bi\u00f3logo Valdir Felipe, que conduziu a atividade, afirmou que j\u00e1 foram obseravadas mais de 100 esp\u00e9cies de aves na unidade. A especialista ambiental do IF, Maria Lu\u00edsa Palmieri destacou a import\u00e2ncia das aves na dispers\u00e3o de sementes e, assim, na regenera\u00e7\u00e3o natural da \u00e1rea, caracterizada por vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o de Mata Atl\u00e2ntica.<\/p>\n<p>A atividade integrou a #horadafloresta, evento promovido pelo Grupo de Trabalho do Programa de Uso P\u00fablico do IF e realizou diversas atividades simult\u00e2neas nas \u00e1reas protegidas que est\u00e3o sob a gest\u00e3o da institui\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p><strong>M\u00eas no Meio Ambiente<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ainda para o\u00a0m\u00eas de junho est\u00e3o previstas diversas atividades voltadas a diferentes p\u00fablicos. Destacam-se atividades do \u201cVem pro Horto\u201d, que busca a\u00a0aproxima\u00e7\u00e3o entre a comunidade e a unidade com atividades diversas,\u00a0e \u201cBacia Caipira\u201d (resgate hist\u00f3rico e socioambiental envolvendo os munic\u00edpios de Piracicaba e Santa B\u00e1rbara d\u2019Oeste)\u00a0a serem realizadas nos dias 16, 17 e 26.\u00a0Ambas as atividades s\u00e3o abertas a quem quiser participar.<\/p>\n<p>No dia 16 ser\u00e1 realizada uma caminhada com ponto de partida da Pra\u00e7a da Igreja Matriz S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 de Tupi em dire\u00e7\u00e3o ao Centro de Visitantes da Esta\u00e7\u00e3o Experimental de Tupi (Horto de Tupi). J\u00e1 na unidade, ser\u00e1 realizada uma trilha e um piquenique e enfatizadas as rela\u00e7\u00f5es entre a Esta\u00e7\u00e3o Experimental de Tupi e a sa\u00fade e qualidade de vida. \u00a0Essa atividade ser\u00e1 realizada pelo IF, SEDEMA, Escola Estadual Pedro de Mello, Associa\u00e7\u00e3o de Moradores do Distrito de Tupi e\u00a0estudantes da disciplina \u201cEcologia Aplicada\u201d do Curso de Ci\u00eancias Biol\u00f3gicas da\u00a0Esalq\/USP.<\/p>\n<p>No dia seguinte acontece o \u201cCiclo de oficinas de planejamento de manejo de trilhas para ciclismo\u201d. Trata-se de um processo de constru\u00e7\u00e3o participativo de uma trilha de ciclismo na Esta\u00e7\u00e3o Experimental de Tupi. Os participantes ter\u00e3o a oportunidade de realizar uma caminhada pela unidade e conhecer um pouco sobre a sua hist\u00f3ria e import\u00e2ncia, al\u00e9m de observar alguns dos exemplares da fauna local.
