maio, o Instituto Florestal (IF) participou do maior evento de observa\u00e7\u00e3o de aves do Brasil, o 13\u00ba Avistar. Al\u00e9m de marcar presen\u00e7a com um estande, com o objetivo de informar ao p\u00fablico onde praticar o <em>birdwatching<\/em> no estado de S\u00e3o Paulo, a institui\u00e7\u00e3o promoveu palestra, atividades l\u00fadicas e apresentou resultados de pesquisa cient\u00edfica relacionada \u00e0 atividade.\u00a0O evento aconteceu no Instituto Butantan, na capital paulista.<\/p>\n<p>O IF dividiu o estande com a Secretaria Estadual de Turismo e outras institui\u00e7\u00f5es do Sistema Ambiental Paulista: Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Florestal, Instituto de Bot\u00e2nica e Coordenadoria de Parques Urbanos (CPU). Foi estendido um grande mapa do estado indicando os principais pontos de observa\u00e7\u00e3o de aves do Estado, seus munic\u00edpios e seus respectivos parques com visita\u00e7\u00e3o consolidada.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Observa\u00e7\u00e3o de aves gera dados cient\u00edficos<\/strong><br \/>\nA pesquisadora cient\u00edfica\u00a0do Instituto Florestal\u00a0Andr\u00e9a Soares Pires apresentou no evento os resultados de estudo em que a observa\u00e7\u00e3o de aves \u00e9 utilizada para avaliar a qualidade ambiental do munic\u00edpio de Teodoro Sampaio\/SP.<\/p>\n<p>Em 2016, observando a diversidade de aves na regi\u00e3o e pesquisando em sites como o <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wikiaves.com.br\/\">Wikiaves<\/a> e <a href=\"https:\/\/ebird.org\/home\">e-Bird<\/a>,\u00a0Andr\u00e9a e o pesquisador Helder Henrique de Faria, tamb\u00e9m do IF, verificaram\u00a0que o plano de manejo do Parque Estadual Morro do Diabo (PEMD) n\u00e3o registrava 58 esp\u00e9cies ali presentes.<\/p>\n<p>No in\u00edcio deste ano, os pesquisadores come\u00e7aram a coletar dados em pontos urbanos, trilhas do Parque e no corredor ecol\u00f3gico que liga o PEMD a outra unidade de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o, a Esta\u00e7\u00e3o Ecol\u00f3gica Mico Le\u00e3o-Preto. Entre fevereiro e abril registraram\u00a078 esp\u00e9cies na sede do Parque, 55 na \u00e1rea urbana e 36 no corredor florestal. Destacam-se esp\u00e9cies como urutau-gigante<em>, <\/em>tuiui\u00fa , urubu-de-cabe\u00e7a-amarela, urubu-rei, gavi\u00e3o-de-penacho, pomba-trocal, anu-coroca, udu-de-coroa-azul, arara Canind\u00e9, arara-vermelha e uirapuru-laranja. Atualmente, j\u00e1 s\u00e3o 70 esp\u00e9cies registradas que n\u00e3o estavam na lista oficial da \u00e1rea.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m de obter a riqueza, \u00a0a composi\u00e7\u00e3o e a distribui\u00e7\u00e3o de habitat das aves de Teodoro Sampaio, bem como atualizar a lista atualizada de esp\u00e9cies do PEMD, os pesquisadores pretendem produzir um guia de aves local.<\/p>\n<p>O estudo est\u00e1 cadastrado na <a href=\"https:\/\/www.infraestruturameioambiente.sp.gov.br\/institutoflorestal\/pesquisa\/submissao-de-projetos-de-pesquisa\/\">Comiss\u00e3o T\u00e9cnico-Cient\u00edfica do IF<\/a>, respons\u00e1vel pela\u00a0gest\u00e3o dos projetos de pesquisa nas unidades de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o e \u00e1reas protegidas do Estado de S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n<p>Os dois pesquisadores tamb\u00e9m participaram do Global Big Day, que ocorreu em 05 de maio. Este \u00e9 um dia em que observadores de aves do mundo inteiro registram as esp\u00e9cies em sua localidade do planeta. A atividade pode estimular a economia regional, gerando renda para o entorno e para a administra\u00e7\u00e3o p\u00fablica, bem como promover uma maior participa\u00e7\u00e3o dos visitantes no processo de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o dessas \u00e1reas, contribuindo inclusive com dados cient\u00edficos por meio da ci\u00eancia cidad\u00e3. Por outro lado, algumas t\u00e9cnicas para atrair aves para facilitar a observa\u00e7\u00e3o e cliques fotogr\u00e1ficos, como o <em>playback<\/em>, pode causar estresse \u00e0s esp\u00e9cies, fazendo com que se exponha a predadores ou abandone um ninho por exemplo. Se for uma esp\u00e9cie rara, poder\u00e1 haver inclusive um impacto populacional.<\/p>\n<p>No sentido de potencializar esses benef\u00edcios e reduzir os impactos, atualmente o Instituto Florestal est\u00e1 trabalhando junto \u00e0 Secretaria do Meio Ambiente na regulamenta\u00e7\u00e3o da atividade de observa\u00e7\u00e3o de aves nas \u00e1reas protegidas sob sua gest\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hist\u00f3ria da conserva\u00e7\u00e3o em S\u00e3o Paulo<br \/>\n<\/strong>No primeiro dia de evento, o IF realizou palestra sobre a hist\u00f3ria da conserva\u00e7\u00e3o do nosso estado. Foram contadas as trajet\u00f3rias de pioneiros como Alberto L\u00f6fgren, Frederico Carlos Hoehne e Oct\u00e1vio Vecchi. A iniciativa foi realizada em parceria com Erika Hingst-<em>Zaher<\/em>, do\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.butantan.gov.br\/cultura\/museus\/museubiologico\/Paginas\/default.aspx\">Museu Biol\u00f3gico do Instituto Butantan<\/a>\u00a0e Felipe Souza, do movimento\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservatio.site\/\">Conservatio<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>O Museu Florestal e o movimento Conservatio tamb\u00e9m realizam outra atividade em parceria: a montagem de um grande um varal, no meio do gramado, que trazia uma linha do tempo. A linha trazia alguns dos principais marcos ambientais da hist\u00f3ria de S\u00e3o Paulo e possibilitava que que qualquer pessoa presente no evento pudesse interagir com a obra e inserir outros acontecimentos que julguem importantes e que ainda n\u00e3o estivessem no varal. O p\u00fablico foi estimulado ainda a contar suas pr\u00f3prias experi\u00eancias pessoais relacionadas a seu contato inicial com a conserva\u00e7\u00e3o, como a primeira visita a um parque, ou o plantio de uma muda na escola, etc. A atividade aconteceu durante todos os dia do Avistar e resultou em uma troca muito rica\u00a0de experi\u00eancias e informa\u00e7\u00e3o entre a equipe respons\u00e1vel pelo varal e os participantes do evento.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a
