\/><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Entre os dias 15 de 20 de maio, o Instituto Florestal (IF) realizou treinamento para policiais rodovi\u00e1rios federais com o objetivo de aumentar a efici\u00eancia do combate ao transporte ilegal de madeiras nativas, que s\u00e3o exploradas ilegalmente na Amaz\u00f4nia. As atividades foram ministradas pela pesquisadora cient\u00edfica Sandra Monteiro Borges Florsheim e pelo pesquisador Eduardo Luiz Longui. O curso aconteceu em Bel\u00e9m\/PA, nas depend\u00eancias do Museu Paraense Em\u00edlio Goeldi.<\/p>\n<p>Os participantes foram capacitados para identificar os produtos a partir da an\u00e1lise macrosc\u00f3pica de elementos estruturais e anat\u00f4micos de cada esp\u00e9cie. Al\u00e9m das atividades em sala de aula, foram realizadas atividades de campo para observa\u00e7\u00e3o de algumas esp\u00e9cies, visitas ao herb\u00e1rio e a xiloteca do Museu para conhecer as esp\u00e9cies existentes na floresta amaz\u00f4nica e fiscaliza\u00e7\u00e3o supervisionada na Unidade Operacional da Pol\u00edcia Rodovi\u00e1ria Federal em Castanhal\/PA.<\/p>\n<p>Participaram do treinamento 15 policiais rodovi\u00e1rios federais, lotados nas Regionais do Par\u00e1, Amap\u00e1, Rond\u00f4nia e Mato Grosso, dois militares do Batalh\u00e3o de Pol\u00edcia Ambiental no Par\u00e1 e dois pesquisadores do Museu.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cO intuito de levar a capacita\u00e7\u00e3o para o estado do Par\u00e1 e direcionar metade das vagas para o efetivo local faz parte de um projeto maior, que visa fortalecer em definitivo a fiscaliza\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental nas Regionais da Amaz\u00f4nia Legal e essa parceria com o Instituto Florestal, al\u00e9m de outros \u00f3rg\u00e3os como o Museu Paraense Em\u00edlio Goeldi e o Batalh\u00e3o Ambiental, tem sido essencial para o sucesso das a\u00e7\u00f5es de fiscaliza\u00e7\u00e3o em defesa do meio ambiente\u201d, afirmou o policial rodovi\u00e1rio federal Ronildon , respons\u00e1vel pela organiza\u00e7\u00e3o do evento.<\/p>\n<p>Como uma esp\u00e9cie de prova pr\u00e1tica do treinamento, a\u00e7\u00f5es de enfrentamento aos crimes ambientais est\u00e3o realizadas na Regi\u00e3o Metropolitana de Bel\u00e9m, em parceria com o IF, at\u00e9 o dia 26 de maio.
