Trata-se da savana mais destru\u00edda do planeta. S\u00e3o Paulo j\u00e1 perdeu 97% de sua vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o original do Cerrado.<\/p>\n<p>Segunda a pesquisadora, o bioma garante o abastecimento de \u00e1gua para as popula\u00e7\u00f5es urbanas, para a irriga\u00e7\u00e3o da agricultura e para as hidrel\u00e9tricas.
