Amaral.\u00a0O plantio de 300 mudas foi realizado junto a alunos da Escola Municipal de Ensino B\u00e1sico Jos\u00e9 Rebou\u00e7as de Carvalho no \u00e2mbito do Projeto Preservar \u00e9 Preciso.<\/p>\n<p>O Projeto \u00e9 um trabalho de educa\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental desenvolvido pela Floresta Estadual de Avar\u00e9 junto \u00e0s comunidades residentes em seu entorno para solucionar o problema do lixo trazido pelo corpos d\u2019\u00e1gua. Os rios passam por \u00e1reas urbanas bastante degradadas e des\u00e1guam na unidade.\u00a0Os res\u00edduos s\u00f3lidos colocam em risco esp\u00e9cies aqu\u00e1ticas e de fauna em geral e tornam-se agentes poluentes e proliferadores de vetores de doen\u00e7as como a Dengue, a Zika e a Chikungunya. O tema foi recentemente tratado pela escola junto aos alunos e \u00e0 comunidade. E o objetivo do Projeto \u00e9 a recupera\u00e7\u00e3o das matas ciliares com o envolvimento dos moradores dessas \u00e1reas.<\/p>\n<p>Desde 2014, o Programa de Uso P\u00fablico da Floresta Estadual de Avar\u00e9 vem estabelecendo parcerias e a\u00e7\u00f5es compartilhadas desenvolvendo atividades de educa\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental como a confec\u00e7\u00e3o e instala\u00e7\u00e3o de placas educativas, palestras nas escolas que comp\u00f5em a referida microbacia, distribui\u00e7\u00e3o de cartas \u00e0 popula\u00e7\u00e3o e plantios de recupera\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00c1reas de Preserva\u00e7\u00e3o Permanente (APPs). O primeiro plantio de mudas foi realizado em 2016.<\/p>\n<p>As a\u00e7\u00f5es j\u00e1 est\u00e3o dando resultado: a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o do plantio realizado no ano passado tem sido feita pela pr\u00f3pria comunidade, que faz a ro\u00e7ada do terreno, o coroamento das mudas, a aduba\u00e7\u00e3o peri\u00f3dica e mesmo o a reposi\u00e7\u00e3o das mudas que n\u00e3o sobrevivem.<\/p>\n<p>As pr\u00f3ximas atividades junto aos alunos ser\u00e3o concursos de reda\u00e7\u00e3o, desenho e cria\u00e7\u00e3o de um logo para o Projeto.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Semana da \u00e1rvore<br \/>\n<\/strong>De 17 a 22 de setembro, a Floresta Estadual de Avar\u00e9 (tamb\u00e9m conhecida como Horto) comemorou a Semana da \u00c1rvore.\u00a0Foram realizadas v\u00e1rias atividades, tais como participa\u00e7\u00e3o em desfile c\u00edvico pelas comemora\u00e7\u00f5es do anivers\u00e1rio de Avar\u00e9, momento em que o Projeto Preservar \u00e9 Preciso foi representado junto a parceiros como o Rotary Club Avar\u00e9 Jurumirim e a Escola Municipal Jos\u00e9 Rebou\u00e7as de Carvalho, dando visibilidade ao mesmo, divulgado-o de maneira expansiva para a sociedade avareense.<\/p>\n<p>No dia 21 de setembro, os alunos da Escola Jos\u00e9 Rebou\u00e7as de Carvalho plantaram mais de 300 mudas de esp\u00e9cies nativas (como o pau-viola, a quaresmeira, a canaf\u00edstula, o pau-brasil) e frut\u00edferas silvestres (como a grumixama, a pitanga, o ara\u00e7\u00e1, a cereja-do-mato) entre uma diversidade de 28 esp\u00e9cies que, quando adultas, contribuir\u00e3o para a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o da fauna urbana, al\u00e9m de oferecer frutos \u00e0 comunidade local.\u00a0O plantio foi realizado em uma APP formada ao longo do C\u00f3rrego \u00c1gua do Amaral, que \u00e9 um afluente do C\u00f3rrego do Curtume, e contou com a presen\u00e7a de autoridades, representantes dos parceiros e membros das comunidade\/bairros que integram a Microbacia do C\u00f3rrego do Curtume.<\/p>\n<p>J\u00e1 no dia 22 de setembro, a equipe da Floresta de Avar\u00e9 participou do lan\u00e7amento da Nascente Modelo, que integra as a\u00e7\u00f5es locais do Programa Verde-Azul, da Secretaria do Meio Ambiente do Estado de S\u00e3o Paulo. Foi realizado um plantio de mudas nativas na APP do Ribeir\u00e3o Lajeado, que passa por toda a extens\u00e3o da unidade e \u00e9 um dos principais fornecedores da Bacia de Capta\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00c1gua da Sabesp, que abastece cerca de 25% da popula\u00e7\u00e3o avareense com \u00e1gua tratada e de qualidade.
