Durante o passeio foram observadas 23 esp\u00e9cies diferentes de aves. O evento foi realizado em parceria com a prefeitura local e aconteceu na Floresta Estadual de Avar\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Os participantes da \u201cPassarinhada\u201d realizaram um passeio pela Trilha do Banhado, onde puderam realizar observa\u00e7\u00e3o, registro, classifica\u00e7\u00e3o, grava\u00e7\u00e3o e cataloga\u00e7\u00e3o das esp\u00e9cies da avifauna observadas no trajeto. Dentre as esp\u00e9cies observadas, vale destacar o sa\u00ed can\u00e1rio (<em>Thlypopsis s\u00f3rdida)<\/em> e o japu (<em>Psarocolius decumanus<\/em>).<\/p>\n<div class=\"wc-gallery\"><div \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Ap\u00f3s a atividade de campo, os participantes tiveram uma palestra sobre a import\u00e2ncia das aves para os ecossistemas, coordenada pela bi\u00f3loga Maria Luiza\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: inherit\">Zambom. Em seguida ocorreu uma roda de conversa sobre os riscos de\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"line-height: inherit\">reintrodu\u00e7\u00e3o irregular de fauna e informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre como agir, coordenada pela bi\u00f3loga V\u00edvian Peres.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>A observa\u00e7\u00e3o de aves, tamb\u00e9m conhecida como <em>birdwatching<\/em>, vem ganhando expressivo n\u00famero de adeptos no Brasil. Promove aos praticantes o acesso ao conhecimento sobre as esp\u00e9cies, seu comportamento, bem como estimula a reflex\u00e3o sobre os servi\u00e7os ambientais que as aves oferecem, como a dispers\u00e3o de sementes, a poliniza\u00e7\u00e3o, o controle de pragas e a limpeza do ambiente (como urubus comedores de carca\u00e7as). Esse tipo de atividade contribui ainda para o fortalecimento do papel social das \u00c1reas Protegidas, envolvendo a\u00e7\u00f5es junto \u00e0 comunidade que estimulam o potencial tur\u00edstico. A pr\u00e1tica da atividade constitui tamb\u00e9m com o incentivo \u00e0 pesquisa cient\u00edfica.<\/p>\n<p>A \u201cPassarinhada\u201d faz parte do Projeto As Aves Daqui, desenvolvido pela Secretaria Municipal do Meio Ambiente (SMMA) de Avar\u00e9 em parceria com a Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o Ambiental Teyqu\u00ea-P\u00ea e Instituto Floravida \u2013 Centrofauna.
