Premia\u00e7\u00e3o\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>O pesquisador cient\u00edfico Guenji Yamazoe, aposentado do Instituto Florestal(IF), foi condecorado pelo Governo do Jap\u00e3o com a comenda Ordem do Sol Nascente, Raios de Ouro e Prata, na Outorga de Honrarias da Primavera do 29\u00ba Ano da Era Heisei (2017). A cerim\u00f4nia de outorga ocorreu no dia 14 de junho, na resid\u00eancia oficial do C\u00f4nsul Geral do Jap\u00e3o em S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n<p>A comenda \u00e9 concedida pelo pr\u00f3prio Imperador Heisei. Como principais fatos merit\u00f3rios para concess\u00e3o dessa honraria a Guenji Yamazoe foram citadas a sua contribui\u00e7\u00e3o de forma consistente ao \u201cProjeto de Pesquisa Florestal do Estado de S\u00e3o Paulo\u201de ao \u201cProjeto de Pesquisa de Conserva\u00e7\u00e3o de Florestas e do Meio Ambiente\u201d, executados no Instituto Florestal, com a coopera\u00e7\u00e3o da Japan Internacional Cooperation Agency (JICA). Trabalhou na Cooperativa Central Agr\u00edcola Sul-Brasil, de 1951 a 1958. Ingressou na Escola Superior de Agricultura \u201cLuiz de Queiroz\u201d da Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo (ESALQ\/USP) em 1959, formando-se Engenheiro Agr\u00f4nomo em 1963. Voltou a trabalhar na Cooperativa Central Agr\u00edcola Sul-Brasil (1964 &#8211; 1965). Obteve bolsa de estudos do Minist\u00e9rio da Educa\u00e7\u00e3o do Governo do Jap\u00e3o (MONBUSHO), onde estudou Ci\u00eancias Florestais nas Universidades de Hokkaido(1965-1966) e Kyushu (1966-1967). Ingressou no ent\u00e3o Servi\u00e7o Florestal do Estado (1968), tendo sido designado Encarregado da Reserva de Carlos Botelho.<\/p>\n<p>Com a transforma\u00e7\u00e3o do Servi\u00e7o Florestal em Instituto Florestal (1970), exerceu os seguintes cargos na Institui\u00e7\u00e3o: Assistente T\u00e9cnico de Dire\u00e7\u00e3o (1970 a 1980), Diretor Geral (1980 \u2013 1983), Diretor da Divis\u00e3o de Florestas e Esta\u00e7\u00f5es Experimentais (1984 \u2013 1989) e Diretor do Servi\u00e7o de Comunica\u00e7\u00f5es T\u00e9cnico-Cient\u00edficas (1991 -1992). Foi contraparte dos Projetos de Pesquisa Florestal no Estado de S\u00e3o Paulo e de Pesquisa em Conserva\u00e7\u00e3o de Florestas e Meio Ambiente, em coopera\u00e7\u00e3o com a JICA (1979 a 2004). Como pesquisador cient\u00edfico, trabalhou com silvicultura de <em>Euterpe edulis<\/em>, a palmeira ju\u00e7ara.<\/p>\n<p>Ap\u00f3s sua aposentadoria em 2005, foi Presidente da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o dos Bolsistas JICA \u2013 ABJICA (2010-2014), Presidente da Comiss\u00e3o do Pr\u00eamio Kiyoshi Yamamoto (2013-2017) e \u00e9 Presidente da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Cultural Tottori Kenjin do Brasil desde 2017. Com o apoio da ONG japonesa VERSTA vem realizando projeto de sistemas agroflorestais desde 2012, em Sete Barras\/SP, tendo como componente principal a palmeira ju\u00e7ara, visando \u00e0
