Notar as varia\u00e7\u00f5es de cor e profundidade dos solos\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Os solos s\u00e3o o resultado da a\u00e7\u00e3o de v\u00e1rios elementos combinados como o clima, os organismos, o relevo e o material de origem, e com todos atuando em um determinado per\u00edodo de tempo. \u00c9 um dos recursos naturais que exerce papel importante na produ\u00e7\u00e3o agr\u00edcola (vegetal ou\u00a0animal), na reten\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1gua e reabastecimento dos mananciais h\u00eddricos e len\u00e7\u00f3is fre\u00e1ticos, e na sustenta\u00e7\u00e3o da flora, da fauna e do\u00a0homem. Portanto, conhec\u00ea-lo \u00e9 o primeiro passo para a preserva\u00e7\u00e3o do ambiente, j\u00e1 que a forma\u00e7\u00e3o de poucos cent\u00edmetros de solo necessita de longos per\u00edodos, enquanto a destrui\u00e7\u00e3o pode ocorrer em tempo muito curto.<\/p>\n<p>Para os Planos de Manejo de Unidades de Conserva\u00e7\u00e3o elaboram-se mapas de solos com informa\u00e7\u00f5es de cunho geral, para subsidiar os trabalhos de planejamento, pois a inten\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 a preserva\u00e7\u00e3o do ambiente o mais pr\u00f3ximo do natural. Assim, avaliam-se, sempre que poss\u00edvel, a morfologia (express\u00e3o t\u00e1til ou visual, em aspectos macro ou microsc\u00f3picos, como textura, estrutura, cor, consist\u00eancia), os aspectos f\u00edsicos (granulometria, densidade, infiltra\u00e7\u00e3o, compacidade), qu\u00edmicos (c\u00e1tions e \u00e2nions troc\u00e1veis, mat\u00e9ria org\u00e2nica, pH, acidez, toxicidade, metais, macro e micronutrientes) e tamb\u00e9m mineral\u00f3gicos (quantidade e qualidade de minerais).<\/p>\n<p>Os estudos de solos realizados nas unidades de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o Integral e sua \u00e1rea envolt\u00f3ria t\u00eam por objetivo a caracteriza\u00e7\u00e3o dos solos e seus atributos para a defini\u00e7\u00e3o de potencialidades e de restri\u00e7\u00f5es do ambiente. Esses estudos, associados \u00e0s informa\u00e7\u00f5es da geologia (geotecnia e litologia) e da geomorfologia (formas de relevo, declives, processos e din\u00e2mica), permitem, de forma sint\u00e9tica, estabelecer zoneamentos\u00a0apropriados ao manejo da \u00e1rea, tendo sempre em mente que essas \u00e1reas s\u00e3o para preserva\u00e7\u00e3o com um m\u00ednimo de interven\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>As informa\u00e7\u00f5es levantadas sobre os solos propiciam tamb\u00e9m distinguir zonas de potencialidade de ocorr\u00eancia de processos erosivos, como eros\u00f5es lineares, escorregamentos e quedas de blocos, al\u00e9m de zonas de encharcamento sazonal ou permanente.
