Dariane Enke\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><br \/>\nNo dia 20 de outubro, o Instituto Florestal (IF) realizou em Registro (SP) o <strong>V Semin\u00e1rio Frutos da Mata Atl\u00e2ntica: o sabor da biodiversidade<\/strong>.\u00a0O objetivo do evento \u00e9 difundir frutas comest\u00edveis do bioma e que ainda n\u00e3o s\u00e3o comercializadas. Nesta\u00a0edi\u00e7\u00e3o do evento, foi dado destaque especial ao fruto da\u00a0ju\u00e7ara.<\/p>\n<p>A palmeira-ju\u00e7ara \u00e9 uma esp\u00e9cie nativa amea\u00e7ada de extin\u00e7\u00e3o, principalmente por conta do corte para a extra\u00e7\u00e3o do palmito, que mata a \u00e1rvore. J\u00e1 a\u00a0explora\u00e7\u00e3o do fruto mant\u00e9m a \u00e1rvore viva. Com o processamento da polpa, obt\u00e9m-se um produto semelhante ao a\u00e7a\u00ed amaz\u00f4nico. Desta forma,\u00a0\u00a0ela ainda pode difundir sementes e mudas da esp\u00e9cie por muitos anos.\u00a0E a atividade pode se tornar uma fonte de renda para as comunidades, al\u00e9m de contribuir para a conserva\u00e7\u00e3o do bioma.<\/p>\n<p>O evento\u00a0recebeu um p\u00fablico bastante heterog\u00eaneo de aproximadamente 200 pessoas , com a presen\u00e7a de\u00a0produtores rurais, t\u00e9cnicos de \u00f3rg\u00e3os p\u00fablicos, estudantes universit\u00e1rios e gestores de unidades de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>A quinta edi\u00e7\u00e3o do Semin\u00e1rio\u00a0foi realizada em parceria com a Associa\u00e7\u00e3o dos ex-Bolsistas da <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jica.go.jp\/english\/\">Japan Internacional Cooperation Agency (Abjica)<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/fflorestal.sp.gov.br\/\">Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Florestal (FF)<\/a> e Universidade Estadual Paulista &#8220;J\u00falio de Mesquita Filho&#8221; (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.unesp.br\">Unesp<\/a>) de Registro. As palestras\u00a0aconteceram no audit\u00f3rio do Servi\u00e7o Nacional de Aprendizagem Comercial (Senac)\u00a0de Registro.<\/p>\n<p>O pesquisador aposentado do Instituto Florestal e presidente da Abjica,\u00a0Guenji Yamazoe afirmou que o objetivo da realiza\u00e7\u00e3o do\u00a0Semin\u00e1rio\u00a0no munic\u00edpio de Registro foi buscar uma maior proximidade com os agricultores familiares. Para ele,\u00a0Registro \u00e9 o centro dos problemas e tamb\u00e9m das solu\u00e7\u00f5es da ju\u00e7ara. As quatro edi\u00e7\u00f5es anteriores do Semin\u00e1rio foram todas realizadas na sede\u00a0do Instituto Florestal, em S\u00e3o Paulo, sempre lotando o audit\u00f3rio.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Floresta de p\u00e9\u00a0\u00e9\u00a0alternativa de renda para o agricultor<\/strong><br \/>\nO\u00a0pesquisador cient\u00edfico\u00a0Ocimar Bim representou o Instituto Florestal durante a mesa de abertura do evento.\u00a0&#8220;Estamos em uma caminhada dif\u00edcil. Quem acompanha a imprensa sabe que o Instituto e a Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Florestal v\u00eam sendo questionados. E este evento \u00e9 uma forma que temos de mostrar nossa import\u00e2ncia.\u00a0O Semin\u00e1rio\u00a0junta pessoas que compartilham o sonho em manter a floresta de p\u00e9. E dessa floresta \u00e9 poss\u00edvel gerar renda e sustento para muitas fam\u00edlias&#8221;, discursou.<\/p>\n<p>Guenji Yamazoe, idealizador do evento, listou\u00a0uma grande esp\u00e9cie de frutas da Mata Atl\u00e2ntica, como\u00a0grumixama, cabeludinha\u00a0e\u00a0pitanga. &#8220;S\u00e3o frutas que remetem \u00e0 inf\u00e2ncia das pessoas, porque eram plantadas nos quintais&#8221;, comentou. &#8220;Atrav\u00e9s da valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o dessas frutas, a recomposi\u00e7\u00e3o da mata ciliar deixa de ser vista pelos agricultores como um \u00f4nus, mas como uma alternativa de renda&#8221;, refor\u00e7ou.<\/p>\n<p>A mesa de abertura teve ainda a presen\u00e7a de Paulo S\u00e9rgio Rezende, diretor do Senac de Registro,\u00a0Reginaldo Bezerra da Silva, diretor da Unesp de Registro,\u00a0Edison Montilha, representando a diretoria executiva da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Florestal e\u00a0Kazuoki Fukuzawa, presidente do Bunkyo de Registro.<\/p>\n<p>As apresenta\u00e7\u00f5es come\u00e7aram com a exibi\u00e7\u00e3o do <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=UjRZGTiyVeI\">v\u00eddeo &#8220;O ser ju\u00e7ara&#8221;<\/a>, da Rede Ju\u00e7ara. Em seguida, Edson Montilha falou sobre a atua\u00e7\u00e3o da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Florestal no Vale do Ribeira e Litoral Sul. Edson refor\u00e7ou que a gest\u00e3o das Unidades de Conserva\u00e7\u00e3o do Estado de S\u00e3o Paulo \u00e9 realizada junto ao Instituto Florestal. Apesar da regi\u00e3o ter os piores \u00cdndices de Desenvolvimento Humano (IDH) do Estado, Edson fez um contraponto afirmando que a regi\u00e3o \u00e9 muito rica. Levou em considera\u00e7\u00e3o a beleza c\u00eanica, a presen\u00e7a de comunidades tradicionais e os servi\u00e7os ecossist\u00eamicos prestados, fatores neglicenciados.<\/p>\n<p>Gilberto Ohta, produtor rural da Alian\u00e7a 7B, do munic\u00edpio de Sete Barras, apresentou suas experi\u00eancias com a polpa de ju\u00e7ara. Mostrou t\u00e9cnicas de processamento e conserva\u00e7\u00e3o desse produto, que \u00e9 rico em antocianinas. &#8220;Combate os radicais livres. \u00c9 importante porque rejuvenesce&#8221;,\u00a0informou em tom bem humorado.\u00a0Sobre a contribui\u00e7\u00e3o ecol\u00f3gica do cultivo da esp\u00e9cie, o produtor contou que, em parceria com a FF, j\u00e1 semeou 6 toneladas. E para ele ainda \u00e9 pouco.\u00a0&#8220;Ainda \u00e9 um desafio muito grande. Voc\u00ea n\u00e3o v\u00ea as comunidades aproveitando e consumindo a fruta. E at\u00e9 hoje a\u00a0intera\u00e7\u00e3o entre a sociedade civil e o pode p\u00fablico n\u00e3o foi suficiente&#8221;, criticou Ohta.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o local e coopera\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong><br \/>\nFernando Silveira Franco,\u00a0professor da Universidade Federal de S\u00e3o Carlos &#8211; Campus Sorocaba, apresentou\u00a0o trabalho que realiza\u00a0junto a agricultores na implementa\u00e7\u00e3o de Sistemas Agroflorestais (SAF). Fernando explicou que a agricultura agroflorestal, diferentemente da convencional, aproveita a din\u00e2mica da floresta, respeitando a sucess\u00e3o natural e fornecendo servi\u00e7os ecossist\u00eamicos. &#8220;O nome agrofloresta vem da academia, mas a pr\u00e1tica \u00e9 um saber tradicional. Nosso trabalho de sensibiliza\u00e7\u00e3o junto aos agricultores os ajuda a relembrar aquilo que eles j\u00e1 faziam&#8221;, contou.<\/p>\n<p>Logo ap\u00f3s, Gabriel Menezes, do Instituto Au\u00e1 de Empreendedorismo Social, ministrou palestra sobre perspectivas de mercado das frutas da\u00a0Mata Atl\u00e2ntica. Apresentou o caso de sucesso da Rota do Cambuci, projeto\u00a0integrado \u00e0 Reserva da Biosfera do Cintur\u00e3o Verde da Cidade de S\u00e3o Paulo (RBCV). Trata-se de um empreendimento socioambiental de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o da esp\u00e9cie que valoriza a cultura local, a agroecologia, com\u00e9rcio justo e turismo sustent\u00e1vel. O cambuci est\u00e1 ganhando o mercado cada vez mais. &#8220;A bola de neve se iniciou em 2009&#8221;,\u00a0informou\u00a0Gabriel, que acredita no sucesso da dissemina\u00e7\u00e3o dessa fruta por ela entrar na mem\u00f3ria afetiva das pessoas. Para ele, devemos promover uma economia atrav\u00e9s de uma identidade.<\/p>\n<p>O engenheiro florestal Artur Dalton Lima falou sobre produ\u00e7\u00e3o de frutas no SAF &#8211; Cooperafloresta e falou da import\u00e2ncia de superar a cultura da competi\u00e7\u00e3o para a pr\u00e1tica da coopera\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Em seguida,\u00a0Rubens Shimizu, do Conselho Municipal de Turismo de Registro, apresentou palestra sobre o ecoturismo como estrat\u00e9gia de revitaliza\u00e7\u00e3o das comunidades rurais. Rubens informou que a regi\u00e3o tem a maior concentra\u00e7\u00e3o de agricultores familiares no Estado e defendeu a integra\u00e7\u00e3o entre os poderes p\u00fablicos e a iniciativa privada.\u00a0&#8220;Queremos que nossos produtos sejam consumidos aqui&#8221;, afirmou.<\/p>\n<p>No per\u00edodo da tarde, o\u00a0pesquisador cient\u00edfico do IF Ocimar Bim e \u00a0o professor Jo\u00e3o Vicente Coffani Nunes, da Unesp de Registro, apresentaram experi\u00eancias de restaura\u00e7\u00e3o no Mosaico do Jacupiranga com esp\u00e9cies frut\u00edferas da Mata Atl\u00e2ntica. \u00a0&#8220;Os projetos de restaura\u00e7\u00e3o, al\u00e9m da quest\u00e3o\u00a0ecol\u00f3gica, tem uma fun\u00e7\u00e3o\u00a0social. Por isso \u00e9 importante\u00a0apoiar os empreendimentos sociais, como os viveiros comunit\u00e1rios, que produzem as mudas para a restaura\u00e7\u00e3o florestal. E isso gera renda&#8221;, informou Ocimar. &#8220;O que eu tenho feito pelo Instituto Florestal \u00e9 isso. Pesquisar e entender os processos de restaura\u00e7\u00e3o ecol\u00f3gica e suas m\u00e9tricas, mas muito mais envolver as pessoas no debate\u00a0sobre\u00a0conserva\u00e7\u00e3o. E esse desenvolvimento local atrav\u00e9s da produ\u00e7\u00e3o de mudas \u00e9 a grande sacada&#8221;, complementa.<\/p>\n<p>Neide Ara\u00fajo, da Coordenadoria de Biodiversidade e Recursos Naturais da Secretaria do Meio Ambiente de Estado de S\u00e3o Paulo,proferiu palestra sobre o Projeto de Desenvolvimento Rural Sustent\u00e1vel (PDRS).\u00a0Trata-se de\u00a0uma iniciativa realizada com financiamento do Banco Mundial e do Governo do Estado de S\u00e3o Paulo, que\u00a0tem como objetivo principal aumentar a competitividade da agricultura familiar no Estado, melhorando simultaneamente sua sustentabilidade ambiental.<\/p>\n<p>Ao final, Renato Lorza, da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Florestal, moderou\u00a0uma mesa redonda para discutir os entraves e perspectivas para a comercializa\u00e7\u00e3o da polpa de ju\u00e7ara. Foram convidados para o debate os auditores fiscais federais agropecu\u00e1rios Tiago Dokonal Duarte e Ju\u00e7ara Aparecida Andr\u00e9 e a nutricionista da prefeitura municipal de Registro Elissa Mendes. Houve intensa participa\u00e7\u00e3o dos agricultores.<\/p>\n<p>Mesmo com a queda de luz ocorrida na regi\u00e3o no per\u00edodo da tarde, o p\u00fablico n\u00e3o dispersou e acompanhou o evento at\u00e9 o final.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Degusta\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong><br \/>\nO Semin\u00e1rio\u00a0possibilitou ainda que os participantes obtenham a comprova\u00e7\u00e3o daquilo que \u00e9 dito nas palestras: que a biodiversidade tem sabor. Ao longo do evento, foram servidos diversos produtos do preparados com o fruto da ju\u00e7ara: \u00a0suco, bolo, p\u00e3o, geleia, creme\u00a0e\u00a0biscoito. O almo\u00e7o servido aos participantes tamb\u00e9m foi preparado com receitas que usam a ju\u00e7ara no preparo dos pratos. A professora Dariane Beatriz Schoffen Enke, da Unesp de Registro, palestrou sobre\u00a0a qualidade nutricional da polpa de ju\u00e7ara, que possui alta\u00a0concentra\u00e7\u00e3o de antocianina (mais que o a\u00e7a\u00ed amaz\u00f4nico), al\u00e9m de \u00e1cidos graxos, prote\u00ednas, minerais como o zinco e ferro e fibras.
