Ce mus\u00e9e a pour but d\u2019exposer aux visiteurs une grande collection d\u2019objets d\u2019art en bois, tels comme les pi\u00e8ces de gravure et de laque japonaise, les commodes de marqueterie, les sculptures faites \u00e0 partir des arbres de S\u00e3o Paulo et les outils pour r\u00e9aliser le travail du bois. Parmi cette collection, on peut contempler aussi les vitraux de la Casa Conrado, des aquarelles, la peinture murale d\u2019Antonio Paim Vieira sur les esp\u00e8ces indig\u00e8nes d\u2019arbres et la grande huile sur toile peinte par H\u00e9lios Seelinger, qui montre trois moments de l\u2019histoire de S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Entre 1931 et 1960, le Mus\u00e9e Forestier a abrit\u00e9 une importante section de recherche du Service Forestier. Dans son b\u00e2timent, il y avait des laboratoires de m\u00e9t\u00e9orologie et photographie, une biblioth\u00e8que de bois et un herbier.
